Schalbruch: Our Temporary Home

We are currently staying in a guesthouse in Schalbruch, Germany while we wait to move into our rental, and eventual home, in Laffeld. Schalbruch is tiny and it's residents are friendly. We are enjoying walking, jogging and biking the farm roads in the area.



We took a wonderful trip to Aachen to visit Erika and Joseph.


Our first weekend trip took us to the town of Koblenz on the Rhein, with stops at Marksburg and Rheinfels Castles.
