Schloss Merode Weihnachtsmarkt

We took a quick trip to check out the Weihnachtsmarkt at Schloss Merode, a local castle. Brennan really liked the tractor in the parking lot.



The paths surrounding the castle were lined with torches and there were small fires here and there for warmth, (it was a really cold day) and it must be so pretty at night. We were there with the early birds, which meant we snagged great parking and were leaving by the time the crowds were arriving.

Brennan took Isla on her first carousel ride at the Heinsberg Weihnachtsmarkt and was very good about making sure she stayed seated.
