We took another shot at flying space available at the beginning of January, heading home for Grandpa's 100th birthday celebration and Sarah's bridal shower. After a 3-hour drive to Ramstein, a short night in a hotel, arrival at the terminal by 4am and all the normal check-in, roll call, security, busride on the flightline and boarding, we made a flight to MaGuire AFB, NJ. Here are some pics of our C-17 and a very tired Hudock trio.

During the middle of the flight people spread out sleeping bags on the floor and lounge around. It gets incredibly cold on these planes and I think our heavy duty sleeping bags might be in order for any future space-a travel.
