Wedding Extravaganza

One of our neighbors passed down some roller skates to Isla, who was thrilled.  She's been practicing in the living room.

Trying to burn some energy with an after-dinner walk in the rain.

This weekend we attended a wedding!  A good friend of mine and fellow horn player married the brother of another good friend of mine.  And not to toot my own horn (hah!  get it?) but I got an honorable mention in the program for setting them up, see below.

The weather was perfect for a beautiful outdoor ceremony.  Here are Andrew and Cristina.

Julie, the lovely bride.

I was honored to do a reading.

Mr. and Mrs. Mason!

Sweet Elena enjoying cocktail hour.

Brennan and Isla had been anticipating the wedding for weeks and were so excited to dress up and attend.

We got to sit with these pretty girls!

 Aaron and Patrick catching up.

Andrew and Julie; what a cute couple!

Cristina and the Hudock ladies.

The kids found some friends to run around with.  The fireplace was a popular hangout for the younger set.

 First dance!

Isla was starting to fade but she still enjoyed some dancing with Daddy.

She didn't last long though, and was out before the cake was cut.

Brennan hung in there for cake and a Shirley Temple with Mommy.

But it wasn't long before he also succumbed.   No party animals in this family!  The wedding was beautiful and so much fun, and we are incredibly happy for Andrew and Julie.  Congratulations friends!
