Happy Easter!

We started our Easter festivities with some egg dying.  The kids had a lot of fun and really got into it.

Kellan wasn't too happy about being sidelined.

That's more like it!

We let Kellan sleep in.  Brennan and Isla brought him up to speed as soon as he came down.

We headed to Grams and Papa's for some more holiday fun.

They had staged an egg hunt and the kids had a blast!

Brennan had a lot of fun helping out his younger siblings.

We also celebrated Papa's birthday!

The next day we attended the White House Easter Egg Roll!  Here we are getting eggcited on the metro.

 

It was hot but the kids did great.  Some highlights included meeting Caillou,

and the Easter Bunny,

learning all about chickens and eggs,

and learning about beekeeping and honey.

What a great experience!  We ended our trip with some refreshing snowcones.
