Patrick and I have been married for 10 years already! That sure went by quickly! We celebrated our first decade of marriage with a low-key night out. It was so nice to get out, just the two of us, and hang out like we used to. First we relaxed at a local restaurant and tried a few of their tasty appetizers, (we did something similar on our first anniversary when we lived in Jacksonville, FL, walking down to The Brick in Avondale for their awesome baked brie. Ahhh, memories...)
Then we headed over to Wegmans to pick up some dessert to-go. This might not sound romantic to the average person, but it was really fun and had us reminiscing about our days in San Antonio, TX and our weekend evening walks to the HEB (grocery store). Everyone picked their dessert of choice (Patrick: mint chocolate cake, Amber: Reese's Pieces) and we ate chocolate and watched the sunset from the hatchback of the Prius, which is romantic. Then we used an astronomy app to do a little stargazing. Patrick took some photos,
and I totally out-selfied him. I'm sure we'll still be having this much fun after 10 more years! mwa!
