July was a super busy month for us, although we don't have many pictures to show for it. There were lots of doctor's appointments, kindergarten tours, a trip to Naples for Patrick, a condensed summer semester for Patrick, and the final Krabbelgrueppe and Turninklassen for Brennan.
We also celebrated Paula's 4th birthday, pictured below. I supplied cupcakes, which the kids loved for the sweet frosting which for some reason is unheard of here.
At the end of July cousins Kelsey and Hank came for a visit and we had a ton of fun with them. Here are pictures of Kelsey teaching Brennan to blow huge bubbles and some photos of a trip we took to the tri-border. There is a big maze in the park where Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands share a border and it was surprisingly difficult. We made it though, and then enjoyed waffles and poffertjes and took pictures at the actual three country point.
