Some of the Hembree cousins got the new year off to a healthy start with a New Year's Day 5k. It was a lot of fun to run a race with my sister and to cheer our cousins on as they smoked us. This run was also my first since Isla's birth and a test of ye olde tailbone. It was a relief to realize that I can run without additional discomfort. At the time of this post (6 months post fall) I only have mild to moderate achyness in the evenings after long days; a huge improvement and I am definitely not complaining!
