We definitely missed Patrick while he was in Norfolk for 2 weeks, but we had plenty to keep us busy while he was gone! The first order of business was putting up Christmas lights... in 70 degree weather!
Mother Nature got her act together and it was soon freezing and snowy.
Do you know how long it takes to get 3 kids into layers and layers of snow gear? A long time. A very long time.
This photo was taken before the first run down our hill. Kellan quickly developed a taste for speed and he had a blast sledding.
The weather resulted in quite a few snow days, which meant lots and lots of cozy at-home time for us.

Cristina and Elena braved the freezing cold to join our group of carolers from Isla's preschool. Elena was such a trooper and even fell asleep at the end of our frigid evening.

Brennan also had a couple of parties to attend and we contracted our normal share of winter illnesses. The first half of the month certainly flew by!
