Glow Night

Brennan finished his first soccer season with a great game/scrimmage and a team cupcake celebration.  The kids learned so much in such a short time and it was really amazing to watch them catch on to the game and improve each week.

They each got a medal, which was pretty exciting.

After stopping by our neighborhood Oktoberfest (free dinner!) we headed out to the farm for Glow Night.  Local children had carved about 2,000 pumpkins, which were on display after dark.

Pumpkin-henge.

We brought some glow bracelets to light our way and had a lot of fun wandering through the display.

There was a bonfire going and marshmellows and sticks for sale.  Both kids had a lot of fun roasting their first marshmellows, although Brennan wasn't a big fan of eating them.  But that's what Daddys are for!

On Sunday we carved our own pumpkins, getting them inside and done ahead of the hurricane and potential power outage.

The finished products.

Pretty happy with our Jack-O-Lanterns!
